About Tempus Fugit Farm Tempus Fugit Farm initially began as a Thoroughbred hunter-jumper breeding facility in Southern California. Shelby's Thoroughbred stallion Truckin' Kinda Guy produced numerous successful foals in the late '80s and early '90s. In 2001, Shelby and Bob moved to England with their two children, and Shelby became immersed in British showjumping. She competed in the BSJA, traveling across England and Wales for indoor and open-field competitions. Britain's celebration of all things equestrian allowed Shelby to attend events like the Olympia Horse Show, Hickstead International, the Royal Windsor Horse Show, and more. She developed an interest in the European warmblood breeds showcased in the professional arenas, and she started planning for her future breeding operation in Colorado. Upon returning to the United States, Shelby continued competing in USHJA events, and she and Bob custom designed the property that now houses Tempus Fugit Farm in Berthoud, Colorado. Since 2014, Tempus Fugit Farm has produced multiple Premium Holsteiner and Oldenburg prospects with outstanding bloodlines and continues to do so! Health, beauty, and talent inside and out is our goal in breeding a dog that becomes an essential part of the family. After extensive health testing we have bred healthy, happy puppies to offer to good, conscientious homes. It is of utmost importance that our dogs possess a kind disposition and excellent breed qualities. Meet Our Golden Retrievers Golden retrievers are known for their kindness. They are loveable, intelligent, trainable, and eager to please their owners. As a result of their intelligence and love for water, they are often chosen for hunting, search and rescue, guide and hearing, therapy, and showing. 2025 Winter Litter! Kiara & Kalani come from champion pedigrees with American and International titles. We only use OFA certified studs with high health clearances because we feel this is so important to making a healthy, excellent family pet or sport dog. Meet Our Jack Russell Terriers The short legged English Jack Russell ("shorties") are a shorter, calmer version of the taller variety of Jack Russell Terrier. These little terriers were initially bred for fox hunting and had to be small enough to fit into a saddle bag. In the hunt these small Jacks would chase down a hole after the fox. The huntsman could reach into the hole, grab the Jack by the short tail and pull out the little Jack hopefully with a fox attached! Puppies! As a modern pet, JRTs make excellent companions in the barn, the garden, or in the house snuggling up to their owner. They love being part of any adventure, such as long distance traveling or a ride to the hardware store. They also enjoy children and other animals when socialized early in life. Colorado Jacks Pippin TFF Pippin is the ultimate companion and loves to be with the family. When she isn't snuggled up in her donut cuddler bed, she can be found in the barn or exploring the farm. She loves to watch birds and play with the other dogs. She is the ultimate nurturing momma. Pippin retired from breeding in 2024.
